Sectional doors are made of a sandwich type panel of 40 and 75 mm. thick, with a nucleus of high density foamed polyurethane and double sheet rolled steel, galvanised, drop-forged and varnished with high resistance thermal insulation k=0,40 KCAL/m2.h ºC. All hinged intersections, upper, lower and lateral ends, have flexible joints to ensure complete sealing.

The sandwich panel is made of a double layer of galvanized and lacquered sheet metal. Liquid polyurethane is injected between these layers under pressure which expands filling the entire surface with high density foam. It is self-supporting: it supports itself without any reinforcement. It is insulating (very important in garages) as the surface of the door radiates external heat or cold. It is light. The weight of the panel is practically half that of a conventional sheet of steel or sheet metal profile. It is strong. The polyurethane foam adheres perfectly to the sheet metal forming a compact body that resists high impact without deforming. It is waterproof. The polyurethane foam does not absorb water, meaning that, and mainly in doors installed outside, it does not form condensation moisture, one of the main causes of destruction by corrosion in lined metal structures. The lacquered sheet metal has extraordinary resistance to scratches and discoloration by solar rays.
